About TRECCERT Examination
TRECCERT provides exams to candidates as a precondition for obtaining certification. While successful completion of the exam is a requirement for all certifications, other requirements may also be applicable. Please review the certification requirements for the certification scheme you intend to apply in order to be informed of all applicable requirements.
TRECCERT exams aim to gather objective evidence that an individual has the required competence defined in the certification scheme. The depth, length and content of the TRECCERT exams are an outcome of the certification scheme development process.
TRECCERT exam items consist of the stem (question) and four alternatives (1 correct answer and 3 incorrect answers).
Note: Completion of a particular training course is not a prerequisite for taking a TRECCERT exam. Candidates can use various methods to prepare, including third-party training and self-study, as long as they are aligned with and reference the requirements of relevant standards.
